QuestionI asked a question a few days ago about having no top end. I tried a few sugestions, but while doing so I saw somthing very odd? I changed the plug cleaned up a few things and started the bike. It was running, not great but not real bad. I then bent over to look at something and noticed that the plug was disconected, completly.
Is this odd or does this tell me there is a short somewhere? I did take a ride after conecting the plug and it seems to cut out off and on, bucking. when it cuts out it sounds like something is rattling.

Yes, the plug wire may be defective, shorting (flashover), or ???? Keep investigating the problem. You're eliminating the possibilities.
A tech would need to be present and perform electrical diagnosis to find the source of the problem.
