Motorcycle Repair: no spark???, automobile mechanic, cb750

Hi Mark,
My name Is Mike Zech and I am relatively new to the world of motorcycles, but i am a very accomplished automobile mechanic.My problem is this, I was just given a 1973 Honfa cb750,in which i rode until one day i left the ignition on for a month and went to start an the battery wa dead.I replaced the battery yesterday and went about to start it and no i have absolutely no sparkn my problem is i dont know what it is on a motorycle that even generates spark or where to start!    THANX 4 YOUR TIME!

Obtain a Clymer service/repair manual for your CB750. They're available on-line at Clymer's wesite, Ebay, and many other places.
