Motorcycle Repair: Sturgis engine upgrade, fire ignition, head quarters

Question
Hello, I own a 91' FXDB Sturgis that I bought new in 1991. It is stock, and I would like to do a little engine work. I was thinking of a cam, exhaust, carb, and electronic ignition etc. Is there a particular set up you might recommend for this early Dyna. Are there any other upgrades I should do to the engine or bike, while I get this work done (there are less than 20k on it). Thank You. Joe D

Answer
Hi Joe.
You can install a head Quarters 0024 bolt in cam, A Compu-Fire ignition and coil. A set Of Cycle Shack's PHD stepped duel headers, A Mikuni HRS42mm carb. Install Torrington cam bearing and a steel breather gear, This will put the smile all over your face when tuned on a Dyno.   Johnny
