Answer
It would have been wonderfully helpful to know what you are working on.....

A bad condenser will often give an erratic spark, but it will be weak and not always occur when you want it to, so the bike won't start.

Internal combustion engines require...
Air
Fuel (right mixture/ratio)
Spark (at the right time)
Compression (affected by cam timing, valve sealing and piston ring sealing.

You can have all the spark and fuel in the world, but if there isn't enough compression to make the BIG BANG, then it is all wasted and it will load up your spark plug with unburned fuels.

Get a baseline....  Check compression.. around 150 psi on a decent 4 stroke engine. If low, check valve clearances, if that helps great, if not you will have to do a valve job on it and when the head is off, you can check the pistons and rings for wear.

When compression is good, be sure that the spark timing is correct and any spark advancer mechanisms are functioning.

Be sure your air filter, if it has one, is clean and able to pass sufficient amounts of air to the fuel system.
