Answer
I normally only answer Harley questions, but I think I can help you.
There are three reasons why you dont get good brake pedel. One is a leak in the system, two is the brake fluid hole in the master cylinder is plugged up and not letting fluid through and three is air in the line. If you get a good brake and then the pedel gets soft later your master cylinder might be leaking through. I would first though go back and bleed the system again. The holes for the fluid in the master cylinder are very small and it takes quit a while to bleed them. Keep working at it. Most sportsters take around a half hour to totally bleed the system. If after doing this you still have the same problem then you need to check the master cylinder to see if its bleeding by.
Hope this helps
