Chris,
Having some problems.  I took my roomate's bike out this weekend and it was running great.  I put about 50-60 miles on it and I never had a problem.  It was running fine when I put her down for the night.  The next day my roomate's brother came over to borrow the bike and he could not get it to start.  The engine was cranking (up until the battery died) but would not fire up.  To my knowledge there has never been any problems with starting this bike.  Upon further inspection I noticed that the bike was leaking anti-freeze on both sides of one valve were the pipes (from the radiator) come into the manifold?  I checked the fluid levels and they were okay and I never noticed any indicator lights on when I was riding the bike.  I have no idea what is going on, like I said, the bike was fine when I put it away (I think).  If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know.
         Thanks,

Hi Nick.
Did anyone check the fuses?  Check the fuel level as well.

The Magna has a fuel level warning light on it, that, if it fails, will leave you without fuel ata the worst possible moment.

Also check the fuel pump circuit.  There is a diode part that, if it goes will prevent the bike from running.

The V45 has all of the same problems as the V65, so your problem is not unknown to me, as I ride an 84 V65 which has run the gamut of problems in the past 2 years.

Check those and let me know what you find.
Good luck.

FALCON,
Thanks very much for the quick reply, I appreciate it.  I will check these things ASAP.  Do you have any idea why the bike would start leaking anti freeze like that?
         Thanks again,

Answer
Hey Chewy.
As far as the leaking coolant, I would check the hose clamps.  Make sure that they are tightened down as far as they can go.  Then check for cracks in the hoses.

Also, if there is nothing wrong with the connections then the thermostat could be going if it is the original.  This would cause pressure to build up in the system, but should be released into the overfill tank.

Not much else it could be for the leak.

Good luck.
