Motorcycle Repair: buying a 400cc bike, mechanic work, impressive background

Question
My question is far beyond repair and maintenance of a bike but I do hope you can advised me which bike to buy this time in honda series 400cc. My model priorities are CBR400,CB400/SUPER4,VFR AND RVF MODEL YEAR 1996. Can you help me find the right bike that are easier to repair and maintain? AND ALSO advise me the first and second best riding comfort since I'm slready on my way to 50'S.

P.S. I would like to mention that I love doing also mechanic works in my own yard and I have complete tools at home from woodworking to steel and mechanic work. I was thinking to do the repair and maintainance.

I think highly of all the MC's you listed in 400cc. Just pick one! You didn't give me any MC's to compare to. :)

I think all are equally and easily maintained. I'm 43 and can appreciate the comfort aspect. :) Again, comfort is a personal thing. You have to saddle up and see for yourself. Have the dealer adjust handle grips if necessary.
