Motorcycle Repair: Oil Leak On Twin Cam?, harley dealership, tranny fluid

I own a 2003 Harley Super Glide with 2800 miles. Only repair has been the 1000 mile service checkup. I noticed upon cleaning that there is dark weeping/ staining on top were the transmission and motor are bolted together. The engine and tranny  fluid levels are normal. I took it to the local Harley dealership and had 2 different opinions. 1 was to let them pull motor and tranny and use sealent bead. The other was to leave alone.I have 3 weeks left on factory warranty. Is there a weeping problem with the twin cam used on dynas? Thanks!

Thats a tuff call. If you let them pull the motor you could even have more troubles with the bike. and if you dont then you have this weeping. I would have them make a not of it in there records and leave it. If it become more then a weep you could then have them fix it, JOHNNY
