Motorcycle Repair: vulcan 1500 carb. adjustment (2001), air fuel mixture, air screw

I live in Az. bike ran fine until temp. dropped now the carb.pops when started. where is the adjustment air screw and can it be adjusted? carb has been rejetted.

Hi Herb,

The air-fuel mixture screw is located under each carburetor, where the float bowls meet the carb body, and close to the rubber intake manifolds.

Visit: "www.buykawasaki.com" once the website opens, click the green text "Vehicle Information" and "View Parts Diagrams", select your Vulcan's info from the menus that follow to see the carburetor in an exploded view on-line. Look for item number: 16014, Pilot Air Screw.
