Motorcycle Repair: Disc Brake Pistons, brembo disc brakes, buffing wheel

Question
 Hi,
I am restoring a 1988 ATK 250 with Brembo disc brakes. I need to get the pistons (4 of them) out of the caliper to clean them. How do I remove these pistons. The caliper is already off the bike and the fluid drained.

          Thanks,
          Mark

If one or more pistons remain with caliper after attempting to remove them with air, use pliers around the exposed end of piston and gently rotate and pull to remove. Use a material to protect the plier tips from causing damage to the pistons. Dress any marks with a wet/dry sand paper #400 or finer grit or use on buffing wheel to restore same finish.
