QUESTION: It wouldn't stay on, I changed gas pump. Now it stays on but when driving on 2nd gear it starts pulling back forth. I've changed gas filter, and spark plug cables too

There is an ignition module in the distributor. Have you replaced that yet?

Don't quite know what you mean when you say pulling back and forth. Is it hesitating on acceleration?

QUESTION: No I haven't replaced the ignition module. Yes it hesitates to accelerate, like it needs gas.

Hi Emily -

I would replace the module if you have exhausted the options:

Replace:
Spark Plugs
Wires
Distributor Cap
Rotor
Fuel pump
fuel filter
Check fuel lines for cracking

The module is located in the distributor. I would suggest a competent mechanic do it.
