Nissan Repair: 96 pathfinder, neutral safety switch install, neutral safety switch, screws

Almost in, just need one more of the 8mm screws to line up.. question is, the arm was in left pos., i had to move it all the way right to remove old one... New one wont go back all the way left... Any iideas? Auto, 4x4 thank you.

First of all, please double check the part number and ensure this is the right part.

If so, check to see if anything is interfering with the travel.

Can you shoot me a photo if all fails?

Hard to diagnose sight unseen.
