Nissan Repair: Passenger sideview mirror, mirror question, mirror base

QUESTION: Someone hit and knock my sideview mirror.  It is hanging down but the glass is not broken.  How much would it cost to mount the mirror back on.

Need to know what year make and model your Nissan is.
Also, is any part of the mirror base broken? Normally if it is knocked off, then the threads would be stripped, or studs broken.

Hi Darlene -

OK, the cost will be contingent upon how badly the mirror is damaged. Being that I do not know the extent, it is hard to tell. However Replacing the mirror entails removing the door panel and fastening it from inside. At today's labor rates, I would think be under $100 to fix it provided they won't have to replace the housing.
