help  :(

ANSWER: Hi Philip -

What year is your Terrano?
Is the check engine light on?

I would first suggest you take it to Autozone (they do it for free I think), have an OBD done to download and clear any codes you have. This should reset all the lights.

If any light returns after that, then get the code, and let me know what number it is so we can research further.

If your vehicle is running trouble free now, then they are probably nuisance codes that need to be cleared.

Hope this helps -

QUESTION: s erg 1998 I think
no engine warning light is on but it's strange it's all happened since handbrake left on and overheated wheels.
how could this cause lights to come on?

Answer
Hi Philip -

I can understand the trans oil overheat light, but why the others, and why it does not turn off is new to me.

Try removing the ECM (car's computer fuse) for about 30 seconds and replace. This will reset the computer, and hopefully the lights will not return.
