I just bought a 1994 Nissan Altima the back windows goes down but do not come up is there a way I can manually get windows up? i have the door panel off.

Hi Adrian -

In order to get the window up, you have to disengage the regulator that drives the lift. Easiest way is to remove the motor and replace it after manually lifting the window. The motor will hold it in place.

Otherwise, is it not going up if you manually "help" it while pressing the switch? If it goes down, then the motor is working, and if you help it go up, it should work. Just that the motor is too weak and should be replaced, as obviously taking a window up uses a lot more energy.
