Nissan Repair: clutch problem, clutch fork, nissan pickup

I have a '91 nissan pickup and was wondering how to adjust the clutch because it catches right when I let it off the floor

Hi Seth -

The clutch is not adjustable. What I think is happening is your slave cylinder or master cylinder is going out. First of all check the fluid level and bleed the system. If it still does not improve, then check the slave cylinder. Remove the rubber dust boot on the slave (the slave is attached to the trans housing and connected to the clutch fork), and if fluid comes out, the slave cylinder needs replacement. If it is dry, then it is the master.
