Nissan Repair: pintara 2L U12 91, thermo fans, sensor switch

Hey question,
My Pintara overheats cos the thermo fans don't come on, but they come on when the aircon is on.
Is there a relay i can change thats to do with the temp and turning the fans on and if so which one theres so many?

Hi Todd -'

There are a couple things to check. First is the temperature sensor switch that signals the relay to energize the fans. When the engine is hot, try crossing the wires to turn these fans on (wires that are connected to the fan switch). If the fans turns on, then replace the sensor switch.

The other thing you can check is the fan relay, but since it is working with the A/C, I doubt it if that is the case, unless it has its own circuit/

Have you looked at the thermostat also? Somoetimes if it is stuck, then the hot water never gets to the temperature sensor, and the engine thinks it is not overheated.
