Nissan Repair: Reverse lights and tag lights, fuse one, metal stud

Question
We have a 1999 Maxima SE and neither the reverse or license lights are working. This sounds like possibly a fuse issue, but when checking the fuse diagram on the back of the access panel, there is no listing of these lights.
Any help?

Hi Philip -

The fuse for the license plate lamps are usually with the tail lamp circuit. If you still can't find it, you can find it by getting a circuit light 12v tester ground one side, and with the lights on, go through each terminal by touching the probe to the metal stud on each fuse one by one. If you have power on one side of the fuse and no power on the other, you have found the bad fuse.
