How far is the pilot bearing supposed to stick out of the flywheel on an automatic tranny for torque converter 1993 nissan hardbody?

Automatics do not have a pilot bearing since the snout of the converter fits into that space provide for with the flexplate.  If you are installing an engine that was equipped with a manual into a truck with an automatic transmission you will have to remove the pilot bearing.  Email me back and let me know if this is the case or if there is something else you are describing.
