Nissan Repair: Nissan Primera 1.8 sx estate cd changer, nissan primera, dash unit

Hope you can help !
My friend`s (uk) 2006 Primera has a cd jammed in the dash mounted 6 cd autochanger, we can`t figure how to remove the unit from the car, can you please help ? It has the tv screen style radio/ sat nav/parking camera display, and manual transission

Nissan uses Clarion as the manufacturer for their stereo systems.  This includes the head unit.  To remove the unit you need to remove the lower dash console to gain access to the two bolts at the bottom of the dash.  The top ones are hidden under the trim plate below the vents.  After these four bolts are removed the stereo and center trim come out as an assembly.  Now, you will have to remove the unit from the center dash unit.  You will need to remove the connector and the antenna plug to get the unit out of the dash.  The unit needs to be professionally serviced after it is removed.  The mechanism that feeds the CDs is what has jammed.  There is a micro-switch that is the cause of the problem as it gets out of adjustment.  Email the guys at the following link for a quote...
