Nissan Repair: Engine Cleaning Problem, throttle position sensor, mass airflow sensor

Hi,i am having a Problem with my NISSAN INFINITI Q45 Model 1997,
my car engine is very very dirty and i wana get it clean but i am not able to do it, i tried to ask from every one but i didn't get any answer, mostly people say's its an electronic censor car if i wash my car's engine all censor will stop working and it will cost me a lot, please help me out in this issue

You can wash the engine.  But, you need to stay away from important sensors like the mass airflow sensor and the throttle position sensor.  Other than that get a can of engine degreaser and spray down the engine.  After you spray the engine you just use the hose to get the grime off.  Do not use a pressure washer on any sensors or connection or water will penetrate the seals.  You can wash the rest of the engine but stay away from the parts I mentioned.  After you are done you can use compressed air to blow excess water out and then drive the car to get it warm to get the excess water to evaporate.  People are scared to wash the engine since if you get a component like the mass airflows sensor wet it will cost upwards of $400 bucks for another one.
