Nissan Repair: 02 ALTIMA TCS OFF AND SLIP LIGHT ON. NO ACCELERATION, traction control system, two pints

Question
Were you ever able to diagnose what the true problem was regarding the TCS SLIP light coming on.  I am having the same   problem and always being pointed towards the throttle, however my problem arises anytime it rains.  I have already replaced the throttle, however can't seem to fix this intermittent problem.  Is there anyway to bypass/remove the tcs slip sensor for a quick once and for all fix.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
AJ,

You can turn the traction control system off with the button.  But, to get the problem solved I would imagine that you need to bleed the brakes.  I use Ford High Performance Brake Fluid.  You have to go to a Ford Dealership to purchase for about $6 bucks a pint.  And you have to ask for it by name.  They do not realize what they have and try to sell you the regular Blue Label.  You want the Black Label in a white bottle that is labeled Ford High Performance Brake Fluid.  It takes two pints and you bleed the brake system and the problem should be resolved.  Brake fluid is hygroscopic, it loves water, and gets contaminated with water after a couple of years and your problem is what usually happens.
