Nissan Repair: smog failers, smog place, monitoring systems

i have a 96 Nissan xe pick up 4cyl. i tried to get it smogged their was no check engine lights but 3 of the 8 monitoring systems will not reset what is the drive cycles of this truck

If the battery was disconnected prior to driving the truck for three times the computer will not come out of initialization mode and the smog person can read this.  If you have done a tuneup and have driven for a day or two you should be able to pass smog.  Be sure you have changed the oil recently too and drive the vehicle until is is at operating temperature before you go to the smog place.
