How do I replace the passenger side mirror on a 1996 Nissan Maxima?

Hi Ryan -

If you are replacing only the glass part, simply remove the glass by breaking it piece by piece and removing it from the frame. It is held to the frame either with double stick tape, or silicone, or both. Replacement mirrors can be aqcuired at most parts stores or dealers.

If you are replacing the entire assembly, the door panel must be removed and access through the framework in the door to get to the hold down bolts. I think there are 3 of them - with 10MM heads.
