Nissan Repair: 97 Pathfinder Heat blower, ac system, ductwork

Question
When I turn on my 97 pathfinder heater I have to turn it on high to get it to blow out heat. I think it is the same as air. What could cause this.

Answer
Hi Jerry -

Your resistor is faulty. I think it should be attached to the firewall on the engine side of the car. If not, look for it along the ductwork for your heater/AC system. There should be 2 wires attached to it, one on each end. Replace that, and you should be fine.

Hope this helps -
