Nissan Repair: changing sparkplugs on a 2003 supercharged nissan xterra, nissan xterra, impossible job

Question
How do you change the spark plugs on a 2003 supercharged V6 xterra do you have to remove the supercharger to get to them?

Answer
Hi Ryan -

A lot of times you can get to the spark plugs from below the vehicle. I am assuming this is a side mount engine. Having a flex head rachet will make things a lot easier to replace the plugs, and even a universal spark plug socket, and a couple extensions, maybe 1" to 4". I learned a long time ago that having the proper tools is of utmost importance. This might make an impossible job possible.

If not, unfortunately there is no shortcut and you will have to remove the turbo to get to the plugs.

Hope this helps
