Nissan Repair: 1996 nissan altima, nissan altima, aftermarket distributor

Question
I'm driving it starts to pull back like
losing power jerking, even more when going about 80 miles then it just dies, and restart the car, and does the same thing again, put new spark plugs, and muffler but it does the same thing still..some times it just don't start, turn key I here nothing does nothing, eventually it will start

Answer
Check for oil coming out of distributor cap or just behind it. This year Altima is notorious for oil getting past the distributor seal and contaminating the trigger plate in the distributor thus causing a multitude of poor derivability issues. DO NOT USE A AFTERMARKET DISTRIBUTOR. Purchase it from a Nissan dealer.
