Nissan Repair: Replacing A/C Evaporator Core, area c, fire wall

I am trying to get the bottom cover off the A/C evaporator core. I have removed the glove box area, c-clips on the cover and a screw near the bottom at the fire wall. It breaks in half at the front , but there still seems to be something something holding it near the back. I have lookd and felt back there..........No screw or c-clips that I can see or feel.......Any suggestions???

You are going to have to remove the case from the car to split it unless you want to break it at the back where it is fastened together.  Since you are already going to replace the evaporator core you might as well remove the entire case.  There are through bolts that you can see on the firewall side that have to be removed along with the hoses.
