Nissan Repair: Nissan bluebird engine trouble, nissan blue bird, air fuel mixture

Question
I have a 1996 Nissan Blue bird 2.4 ohc - non turbo.  Currently, once it reaches a certain temperature, it starts to miss and then completely stalls shortly after. After approximately ten minutes it may restart and run again for a short time.  I have cleaned the air/fuel mixture sensors in the air box.  I have replaced the plugs and fuel filter. It has good spark & no engine check lights show up on the dash.  I would appreciate any suggestions?  Regards Wayne

Answer
Wayne,

A temperature related problem would lead me to think that the temperature sensor for the computer was defective or the throttle position switch was going bad.  Check the resistance on the throttle position switch using a Haynes Manual and a volt ohm meter to get the correct readings.
