Nissan Repair: noise in lsd, limited slip differential, nissan pathfinder

while turning my 1989 nissan pathfinder the limited slip differential feels like it is binding. i checked the diff oil level and it is full. was wondering if a nissan lsd diff takes a special oil and what might be causing the binding? the noise and feel is not so noticeable when on dirt but is there when backing up too. thanks for the help.

Can't imagine it screwing up.  But, I would go with a synthetic oil and the Nissan additive and see how it responds.  Email me back and le tme know if it corrects the problem.  I have used synthetic and it has solved the problem most of the time.
