Answer
Hi Eddie,

Take your tool back for a refund. Your vehicle does not have a tensionor that the tool is made for. You have two belts and they have adjustment bolts. For the front belt the adjustment bolt is on the alternator. The back belt has one on the power steering pump. Both have a set bolt that will need to be loosened before you unloosen the adjustment bolt. Loosen the adjustment bolt by turning it counter-clockwise until you have enough slack to remove it. If you are replacing the rear belt, you will need to remove the front belt first. After replacing the desired belt tighten the belt by turning the bolt clockwise until you have about .030 inches of play. Yes, this is very tight, but it's straight from Nissan. Once you have made the adjustment, tighten firmly the set bolt(s). Hope this helps, I will be glad to answer any follow up questions you may have.
