How to replace the solenoid pack on a 1996 nissan maxima

Remove the transmission pan and you find the valve body.  The solenoid pack is on it.  If you have the new one it just a matter of removing the old one and installing the new one.  Be sure you take note of bolts because some are longer than others.  New pan gasket, filter and fluid and you are back in business.  Oh, be sure to disconnect the battery before you start.  If you have never done one be sure to take you time and keep things clean.  Use lint free rags or you will end up plugging a passage and then the transmission will not work properly.
