Nissan Repair: Flooded 2002 QX4, neutral safety switch, oil pressure sending unit

Question
Hi. About the QX4. I bought it knowing the it was a flooded vehicle. So I figure out that the entire interior should be changed. So I replace all the computers, with used ones from local junkyards. The only one I didn't change was the airbag computer. So after replacing the computers I changed all the relays and the main fuse box.The engine is not seize, because I jumped it and it turned. But when I crank the key, nothing happens. Also I have no door locks and no windows. Also I programmed they key. When I take the key out the security blinks every 3 seconds, and when I put the key in the light goes away. So my main problem is that when I turn the igniton nothing happens. I notice when I try turning the key, the cluster light comes on then goes off. I am thinking maybe the anti-theft security is still on, knocking off all windows, locks and ignition. I don't know what else to do. Maybe changing the two harness- the engine and dash. Any help would be great, thank you

Answer
Anil,

Did you replace the body control module?  This is the one that the key interacts with.  If you programmed the keys and it worked then the next thing is the oil pressure sending unit.  If it is disconnected or damaged the car will not start since there is no fuel.  If you are saying the car will not turn over with the key you need to check the neutral safety switch.  If that is good then check the ignition to make sure it is not shorted internally.  If all of these are good then check to see if the fuse links at the positive side are good.  These could have blown when it was flooded.  If the car turns over but does not start check the ignition module and the fuel pump and fuel pump relay.  Check these out and email me back.
