Nissan Repair: 2002 Nissan Altima, nissan altima, silicone spray

Question
hello,
i just bought a 2002 nissan altima 2.5s.  it is a great car, but i have one concern.  There is a little bit of a noise from the back shocks (it sounds like) whenever i hit small bumps.  I am not sure if other nissans make this noise, and it is nothing to worry about, or if my car's shocks are just worn out.  If you can think of anything this might be, or things i can possibly check out, i would appreciate it.
Thanks for your time,
Drew

Answer
Drew,

You can spray some rubber lube on the bushings and it will stop for a time.  I have a 2000 Maxima and a 350Z and they both make the noise.  I use WD40 but I should probably not since it rots rubber.  I would recommend rubber lubricant like silicone spray.
