Nissan Repair: 1993 Maxima Windshield Wiper, nissan maxima, windshield wiper

I have a 1993 Nissan Maxima.  The driver's side wiper does not work but the passenger side still operates.  I took the cowl cover off and saw that the bar connecting the driver's side wiper to the motor was disconnected on the motor side (I don't think the bar is connected directly to the motor but actually to a piece connecting it to the other wiper and motor).  My question is, how is the bar attached?  Is there a retaining nut?  I pushed it back on but the bar just fell back down.  Is there some trick to this?  Thanks in advance for your help.

The arm connects to the other side of the pivot arm.  The clip is broken off or missing.  So, I would go to a wrecking yard to get the part you need.  The dealer should not be too expensive and if they have it on the computer screen you can point out the part.  The dealer parts department have computerized photographs of the parts but I do not know if they go back that far.  Besides, I like going to the wrecking yards.
