Nissan Repair: starting problem, nissan maxima, starter relay

Question
I have a 91 Nissan maxima 184,000 miles runs great but can't get it started sometimes.  The battery is new.  I turn the key and all my dash lights stay on but nothing happens doesn't even turn over all electrical stuff works but it doesn't seem to deliver any power to the starter to make it start.  I have had the starter checked and it was fine I replaced the starter relay and it seemed to have fixed the problem but 3 days later it started doing it again.  The only thing I hear is a small clicking sound underneith the driverside dash but like I said it will start but I might have to wait a day or so before it will work again.

Answer
I would be looking at changing the ignition switch.  No, not the thing you put the key in but the switch it activates.  With the years on the car the contacts are probably worn and not making contact.  It is an easy enough fix and you can order the new one on-line at rockauto.com pretty cheap or another store that you use like Autozone or Pepboys.
