Answer
Nissan has a problem with the coils and has a revised design.  If you do the work yourself you could save about $300 dollars as I paid about $400 for my six coils on my 2000 Maxima the wife drives.  I did it a few weeks ago for the same reason you are going to get yours done.  I did it myself in about 30 minutes.  Not too difficult if you have allen wrenches to get the cover off the front valve cover and a ten millimeter socket and extension to get the coils loose.  They unplug really easy by depressing the green button on each of them.  Then you just lift them off after you take the ten millimeter bolt out.  The reason they want you to replace all six is that they all fail at about the same rate and if you do one now you will be doing another in a few weeks and so on until you finally replace them all.  I bit the bullet and did the replacement and it was not that bad.  And, once you replace them with the new coils you will be good for the long run.  I know it sucks and you are out of warranty so go for it.
