Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Hello, and let me say thanks. I..., sealer dries, buick le sabre

Question
Hello, and let me say thanks.

I own a 1980 Buick Le Sabre'. It is a 4.9 Lt. either a 301 or 304 Four Barrel. I plan on changing the Head Gasket and I was wondering igf their were any pointers or a process I should use or even directions. I was just going to hope their would be no left over parts. I'm in desperate need of a helping hand! I have a mechanical background just not in the engine field. If there is any advice that you could give me it would be greatly appreciated.

                               Thanks,
