Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme 3.4 DOHC, olds cutlass supreme, olds cutlass

Question
I have a problem I can't seem to diagnose. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I have a 1996 Oldsa Cutlass Supreme with 3.4 DOHC engine. The car is hard starting and needs to be cranked for a few seconds to start. After starting, the car will usually run and idle fine. It has started to intermittently die when slowing down, and now frequently dies when placed in park. I have replaced the plugs and wires and all 6 fuel injectors recently but the problem has not gone away. The check engine light is off and there are no codes stored in the computer. The car has 58,000 miles. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Answer
hi chuck. well this is complicated but let,s give it a whirl.all this leads to fuel pressure.i would check the fuel pressure and especially when the car dies.and when cranking.you have to have a at least 40 mpsi constant.check all vacum lines and breather hoses.egr valve.and replace the fuel filter,.hope this helps please take a sec to rate my service.ty billymac
