Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 2000 Oldsmobile Alero,, oldsmobile alero, cv joint

Hello Pete,
My questions are...There is a clicking sound in the front wheels when I turn the wheel left or right,could that be the Cv joint? or boot? what is generally the cost for this repair? another thing the car is Idling really high, goes up to almost 3. what could happen if this isnt repaired right away?

this is a cv joint the cliking you here the repair would be at least 150 on the joint . and the idile controll senser needs to be replaced . for the up and down on idile this is 30 dollors installed about 200 for everything . good luck to you hun and i love your name pete
