Transmission with a ratio 3.05 (opt 83F) ID code PCB and a ratio 3.05 (opt 83F) ID code PPB fit in the same car with out issues. Car calls for id code PCB but I want to put in a id code PPB in

Well I just fix 'em I don't look up parts. I can't tell you for sure 100% that they will be the same but I can tell you that if the final drive ratio is the same and the one you want to put in your car came out of the same year and was out of a Bonnevill and not another GM model it "should" fit. it it came out of a buick lesabre or park avenue it will shift differently just because of the model car it came out of. the bolt pattern will be the same. Final drive ratio is the big issue it has to match! if not it will throw off the speedometer and transmission shift points.
