HI!  ABOUT HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REPLACE THE HEATER CORE IN A 2001 PONTIAC SUNFIRE AND WHAT IS THE BEST PROCEDURE??  IS CHANGING OUT THE ENGINE EASIER AND WILL THIS FIX THE PROBLEM...I HAVE NO HEAT :(

as long as the engine doesn't have a coolant leak and the cooling system is full it could just be a bad thermostat. the heater core in changed from inside the car it's about a 2 hour job the center console has to come out and then the bottom of the heater boxt taken apart and the core is in there. good luck:)
