Question
QUESTION: I came home from work and the heater/defroster was working fine it was raining and cold.  The next morning went to warm the car and get no air at all, and the rear defroster won't work.  Checked the owner's manual for fuses and relays under the hood not sure what I'm looking for.  Can you help?

Thanks

QUESTION: It's a 2000.  It was very cold that night, just wondering if that had anything to do with it?  Thanks for getting back to me so quick!  :  )

Answer
did both things quit working at the same time?

the fuses for the HVAC are in the glove box fuse block not under the hood. the fuses are labeld hvac ctrl and HVAC hi. if they quit at the same time it's either a blown fuse or a melted wire on the back of the control head or the head it's self. if the quit at different times then you could have 2 different issues. the blower motors and the reistor block on these were noted for going bad. The resistor block is monunted right next to the blower motor and it has 3 screws that attach it to the heater box. take that out and see if that is melted. if it is bad it's going to be obvious that it's bad!

good luck :)
