Pontiac Repair: 99 pontiac grand am, cam shaft, pontiac grand am

what would cause the tree right rocker arms on a pontiac grand am 3.4 not to work. have checked the arms and push rods and they are good.

If the rocker arms are not moving when you are cranking the engine over on the right bank chance are the ones on the left bank are not either. Is it just 3 of them or all 6 on the right bank? If it's just 3 that are not moving and it's the last three the last 3 on the left bank will not be turning as well. If that where the case the cam shaft borke more then likley a cam bearing seized up in the block and the engine would more then likley be junk then. If all the rockers arems are not moving on the right bank and the left bank it could have broken a timing chain. If these engine break a timing chain they bend valves. That is not good either!
