02 grand prix gt 3800 v6 series2 why does abs light come on  just installed new brakes and rotors  abs lite stays on

Hi Rich:

that light is on doe to a hard fault in the ABS system. more then likely a wheel spped sensor or a jumper harness to a speed sensor. stop by one of the big box auot parts stores and have them scan the car for codes. that what you will know what your looking for. Not much else goes bad with theose systems. the speed sensor is part of the wheel bearing (HUB). so if you have a code for a r/f sensor you will need a hub to replace the sensor. good luck :)
