Pontiac Repair: 98 sunfire 2.4L, light bulbs, automatic shift

Issues with rear lights License plate and backing lights.  The brake lights on spoiler not working the only lights that work are both brake lights.  Checked fuse looked fine also changed light bulbs.  What else should I look at the vehicle is an automatic shift

Hi Manny:

do the front parking lights work? what about the turn and 4 ways in the rear? do any of them work? ther is not a lot in common with those lights. if the front park lamps work the fuse is okay and the rears should work. if not there is an open(break) in a wire somehere. they all se the same ground I think so if one works the ground shouldn't be the issue It has to be a power feed. I don't have any place in this car I can say look here and that is where the issue is you will have to trace the wiring in the car to find the issue from front to rear. not an easy task.
