Pontiac Repair: heater fan stays on, chevy tahoe, 2004 chevy tahoe

My dad has a 2004 chevy Tahoe. The haeter fan stays on high after shut of truck and pull keys. Will not shut off have to pull the battery cables off.started when it got cold up here in Minnesota.

Is this a truck that has auto climate control "digital" or does it have dials for the controls? If it has manual controls it could be that the hi blower relay in the the resistor block is stuck on. if it has auto climate control the blower motro control module could be to blame. they do the same thing baut are called different parts due to the system that is in the truck. good luck :)
