Pontiac Repair: gas line, pontiac bonneville, metal tubing

can you tell me what i need to repair a gas line thats leaking  its a 1995 pontiac bonneville would really appreceate it

Hey Terry:

it depends on where you need to fix it.. some of these car you can still buy the factory fuel line premade and pre bent. They are not all the expensive either... If you just need to repair it at say the fuel filter because you twisted the line off trying to get the filter off NAPA has a fuel line repait kit that has the special end on it and a compression fitting to spline in a short piece of line.. For all intensive pourposes the fuel line is just bulk metal tubing so brake line works as well to splice in a piece.. DO NOT USE RUBBER HOSE OR FUEL INJECTOR HOSE to repair a fuel line.. Good luck :)
