Pontiac Repair: car dieing,misfire, sputter, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

i have a 1994 grand prix 3.1 L v6    the car is dyeing while driving and hesitating itself while driving generally after the engine is warm and not cold, i have replaced the ignition module and coil packs,it seems to me like an ignition issue but i may be wrong, the problem is still there and i am not sure as of were to go next?

Hi Robert:

I would suspect that possably you have a dirty Mass Air flow sensor. any of the big box auto parts stores ahve a procust that is made by I think CRC called mass air flow sensor cleaner follow the directions on the can and try that. I would also check fuel pressure when the car is running. If the fuel filter hasn't been changed recently I would suggest changing it just as maintence. Good luck :)
