Pontiac Repair: blower motor for 98 sunfire, water leaks, motro

Question
The interior blower motor was working sporadically. I replaced it, with the same results.  I replaced the blower resistor, same. I replaced the relay under the hood and the switch on the dash.  Still no change. Any ideas what could be left (fuses are good)

Answer
Hey Al:

what's it doing? does it work then cut out for extended periods of time or doe only some of the speeds work? di you replace the motor with an original equipment part or a fits all aftermarket motor? I would try this with the blower on hi start wiggeling wires and connectors untill you find where it makes a difference in the wat the motro runs either it keeps on running or stops altogether. My guess is you have a bad connection somewhere either at the blower motor, blower resistor or the switch. My guess it it's either at the resistor or at the motor that is where the 2 highest current draws are. take a real good look at the connector at the resitior I have seen water leaks in thes cars and the water ends up corroding the connetor at the blower resistor. Good luck :)
